Belarus has completed the ratification of an agreement enabling the EAEU member states to share information from credit histories, Minsk-News reports with reference to the National Legal Internet portal. We remind you that the Chinese yuan has become part of the currencies basket of the Belarusian ruble.

The agreement allows citizens and organizations from Belarus to take out loans in the EAEU countries. Belarusian banks will also be able to issue loans to citizens of Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

Information about the credit history will be transmitted only after the client's consent. The information obtained can be used only for making loans and monitoring credit relations.

The exchange of information will take place on the basis of agreements between licensed credit bureaus and other organizations that act as authorized organizations of the countries of the Economic Union. The contracts will specify the financial conditions for providing information, as well as the requirements for ensuring their protection.
