Belarus will receive a license for the production of amino acids from grain

Belarus will become the sixth country in the world to receive a license for the production of vitamins and amino acids, Minsk-News reported. This month Belarus started producing its own vaccine against COVID-19.

The Minister of Agriculture said that the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation will soon be engaged in the production of vitamins B2, B12 and C, as well as the amino acids valine, leucine and isoleucine.

Amino acids will be obtained by processing grain. This technology is patented by only a few companies in the world. At the same time, only 5 countries in the world have a valid license for the production of such amino acids and vitamins. Belarus will become the sixth one.
