Belarusian goods appeared on Chinese marketplaces
Yesterday we wrote that the Belarusian Ambassador to China sold Belarusian chocolates and snacks totaling over $135 thousand on Douyin App. On the same day, an agreement on cooperation between Chinese marketplaces and Belarusian manufacturers was also signed, the website of the Great Stone Industrial Park writes.
JingDong is one of the largest e-commerce platform in China. An electronic pavilion with Belarusian goods appeared on the platform: chocolate, sweets, snacks, cookies and other confectionery products.
The second Douyin platform is the Chinese version of TikTok. In addition to the commercial component, the content on this site introduces Chinese users to the traditions of Belarus, its culture, nature and sights.
As of July 6, the total number of subscribers of the belarusian pavilion on two platforms exceeded 210,000 people. Revenue reached 1.1 million yuan (approximately $164 thousand).
