Belarusian investors are the leaders among holders of Russian assets

Belarusian investors are leading among other foreign holders of assets on the Russian market, Minsk-News reported. Also, in the first half of 2022, foreign direct investment in the economy of Belarus increased by 1.5 times.

According to the Russian Central Bank, 18.8 thousand foreigners are clients of brokers in Russia. The main countries in terms of the number of investors are Belarus with an indicator of 4.9 investors, Kazakhstan — 2.7 thousand, Uzbekistan — 2.3 thousand.

Over the last quarter, the share of holders of securities from China, India and Serbia has increased.
