Belarusian scientists presented the first sports electric car

Scientists from the National Academy of Sciences presented the first Belarusian sports electric car. The presentation took place on September 10, BelTA reported. Recently, the President presented the first Belarusian laptop.

The weight of the electric car is more than 1 ton. The electric car reaches its maximum speed in 6 seconds, but the goal of the engineers is to reduce this time to 4 seconds. The e-car can reach speeds of up to 120 km/ h, and its estimated mileage is approximately 200 km

Almost all electronics are Belarusian-made. A prototype of the first hand-assembled sports electric car has the structure, body and other components that are made individually.

One of the goals of the Belarusian project to create a sports electric car is to test the elements of the component base developed at NAS.  The second goal is to demonstrate custom samples of the automotive component base for electric vehicles. "We show that not only trucks and commercial vehicles can be made on the basis of these components, but also individual custom cars," said the chief engineer
