Belarusian startup EduDo raised $300 thousand

Belarusian startup EduDo raised a round of 300 thousand dollars. The leading investor was the Ukrainian investment fund Adventures‌ ‌Lab‌, tut.by reports.

The investment will be used to refine the platform and add new features and tools for creating content. The guys also plan to develop content monetization tools.

EduDo is a mobile learning platform with short interactive videos created by users. It is aimed at users 12-30 years old. The videos for the app are generated by the users themselves. At the moment, the app has thirteen different categories (for example, fashion, business, technology). When registering, a person chooses what is more interesting to him and then the platform will select the content itself. The video feed is similar to the Feed in TikTok. The duration of the videos is no more than 3 minutes. After each video, a person is waiting for a mini-quiz to remember the information from the video.

A Belarusian team is working on the platform. The CEO of the project, Yuri Shlaganov, worked for the investment company Flint Capital for almost 4 years. SRTO Max Kurpa managed mobile development teams for 7 years and launched 5 mobile apps (iOS / Android) and 3 apps for Mac devices. Ora Gitsovich (Chief Creative Officer) has 8 years of experience in marketing, advertising and PR.

The project in 2020 won the prestigious award - "App of the Year" at Product Hunt.
