Belarusian students won seven medals at Olympiad in Earth Sciences

Belarusian school students under the guidance of teachers BSU won a gold, two silver and four bronze medals at the XV International Olympiad in Earth Sciences (IESO 2022), the website of the Belarusian State University reported.

In an individual tour, participants demonstrated their knowledge of geology, meteorology, oceanography and astronomy. In the group round, participants were assigned to international teams to perform problem cases on minimizing the effects of climate change on Earth.

A total of 202 students from 40 countries of the world took part in the Olympiad.
