Belarusians spend $29.5 per month for subscriptions

Picodi analysts studied the cost of the most popular entertainment services in 61 countries and calculated the ratio of a package of five subscriptions to the local average salary. A monthly set of five subscriptions in Belarus costs 29.5 US dollars, Devby.io reported.

The total cost of a package of 5 subscriptions is 29.5 US dollars per month, which is 5.5% of the average salary of 1360.5 Belarusian rubles. According to the authors of the study, the nominal cost of subscriptions in Belarus is relatively low compared to other countries, and the share of their costs is one of the smallest in the world.

The worldwide rating includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Spotify, Scribd, Game Pass. In Belarus, the set of online services differed from the global one and included Yandex Plus, Netflix, MyBook, Xbox Game Pass services.

In the list of countries on Internet freedom, Belarus ranked 58th out of 70.
