BSU developed a model for assessing rock massifs
Scientists of the Belarusian State University have developed a mathematical model for assessing the state of rock massifs, which have already been developed, the press service of the university reported.
The model was created taking into account the features of the Starobinsky potash salt deposit in Belarus, which is the largest in Europe. Mining operations have been carried out on its territory for more than 60 years.
Here they want to conduct repeated mining operations on previously worked-out areas. The model developed by the BSU scientist will show the optimal sites for repeated mining.
Belarusian candidates for space flight have successfully passed a medical examination the last week.
