BSU plans to launch second nanosatellite

The Minister of Education has told the Belarusian State University plans to launch its second nanosatellite this year, BelTA reported.

The first university nanosatellite BSUSat-1 was launched on October 29, 2018. It is still functioning in near-Earth orbit. Satellite data reception is available to the world society of radio amateurs.

The new nanosatellite will be presented at the exhibition in Minsk, which will be held on January 20-22. It was also developed at BSU. The second model has been improved in terms of both functions and configuration.

Let us remind you that the launch of the Belarusian-Russian Earth remote sensing satellite is scheduled for 2028.
