BSU scientist became Vice-Chairman of the Eurasian Soil Partnership
Alexander Chervan, head of the Department of Soil Science at the Faculty of Geography of the Belarusian State University, has been elected vice-chairman of the Eurasian Soil Partnership, the press service of the university reported.
Alexander Chervan was elected to the post until 2025. The elections were held on May 23 within the framework of the sixth plenary session of the EAEU in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
The Global Soil Partnership is an association of governments, universities, and specialized soil organizations around the world on a voluntary basis. The partnership solves global challenges in the field of soil protection, land use and the development of new technologies in soil science.
