BSU scientists are working on proteins for cell therapy
BSU scientists are working on a technology for producing recombinant human proteins for use in the fight against cancer and autoimmune diseases. The development will allow replacing expensive imported materials for cell therapy, the press service of the university reported.
Today, the use of such proteins in world medicine is promising and encouraging. They are used as an adjunct to surgical treatment, radiation and chemotherapy. Cell therapy is also used for autoimmune diseases.
The laboratory, which is engaged in the development, already has experience in obtaining animal proteins. Scientists plan to complete the work in 2025.
Recently it became known that BSU plans to launch the second nanosatellite.
