Checkpoint on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border is closed due to a fire

On Wednesday, May 10, at about 3 pm, a fire started in one of the administrative buildings at the Lithuanian border checkpoint Medininkai-Kamenyj Log, Sputnik reported.

Currently, the passage of transport in both directions is suspended. It is unknown when the traffic will be restored.

Let us remind you that Lithuania has recently lifted the state of emergency on the border with Belarus. The state of emergency was introduced in 2021 due to the large number of illegal migrants.

Buses from Rostov-on-Don (Russia) to Minsk were launched this week.
