Chicken meat in Belarus may be among the cheapest in Europe

Analysts of the Russian discount aggregator Рicоdi calculated the cost of chicken meat in 45 European countries. Belarus has entered the TOP 5 countries where chicken meat is the cheapest, Kakatutzhit reported.

On average, in the countries studied, a kilogram of chicken fillet costs $8.59.

TOP 5 countries with the lowest cost:

  1. Turkey - $3.64
  2. Russia - $3.68
  3. Ukraine - $3.95
  4. Azerbaijan - $4.34
  5. Belarus - $4.39

At the bottom of the list is Switzerland, where a kilo of chicken fillet costs $27.62.

A Belarusian family spends about $212 a month on food.
