Children of 5+ years will be vaccinated against Covid in Belarus

The Ministry of Health has decided to allow children aged 5 and over to get vaccinated against COVID-19, BelTA writes. Let us remind you that 69% of Belarus residents have done the full course of vaccination.

Until August 8, 2022, children aged 12 could be vaccinated in Belarus. Now the covid vaccine is available for children from 5 years old. For them, the Chinese Vero Cell vaccine will be used, which is recommended for pregnant women. In China, the Vero Cell vaccine is taken from the age of 3.

Covid incidence increase is expected in September in Belarus. According to experts, so far the expectations are being confirmed.
