Cuban vaccine against COVID-19 was registered in Belarus

From July 24 to 28, 2022, Belarus has been hosting a delegation of representatives of the healthcare system and pharmaceutical industry of Cuba. During the visit, the Cuban vaccine SOBERANA PLUS against COVID-19 was registered, the website of the Ministry of Health writes.

The Cuban delegation also visited republican scientific and practical centers and other medical organizations in Belarus. In addition, a meeting on the exchange of experience in the field of vaccine use was held on July 27. The parties agreed on further cooperation in the relevant areas of activity in healthcare.

The SOBERANA PLUS vaccine became the first Cuban vaccine against COVID-19 registered in the European area.

Recently, scientists of Belarus have developed a test to detect 9 infections against the backdrop COVID.
