Test to detect 9 infections against the backdrop COVID was developed

The Vitebsk enterprise "SIVital" has developed and released a test which detects 9 pathogens of infections against the background of coronavirus, BELTA writes. Read also how Belarusian scientists develop a vaccine against covid.

A diagnostic kit based on the PCR method makes it possible to identify pathogens of bacterial infections spread in hospitals against the background of COVID-19 in one study. The test system allows to specify the pathogen within 3.5 hours (instead of several days in case of inoculation). Another advantage of the development is the ability to conduct research on any biological material.

In 2022, after all the trials and obtaining the necessary permits, a serial batch of tests was released. They have a good export potential. In particular, the possibility of using the Belarusian development on the territory of Russia is being worked through.
