Debt of Belarusian companies on loans decreased

The debt of Belarusian companies on dollar loans decreased by about 21%, Sputnik reported. Let us remind you that annual inflation in Belarus slowed down to 6%.

In March 2022, the debt amounted to about 4 billion US dollars. By March 2023, debts had decreased to 3.2 billion.

Over the same period, the debt on loans in euros has decreased threefold and now amounts to 1.3 billion euros.

In Russian rubles, the debt has increased by 1.7 times and amounts to 231.3 billion Russian rubles.

At the same time, the dynamics of the issuance of new loans in Russian currency decreased by 20% and the issuance of loans in euros fell 16 times. There is also a decline in dollars, but not so sharp.

Currently, dollar loans have the lowest interest rate. It reaches 7.44%.
