During the year, sales of new cars fell almost by third

Sales of many car brands in Belarus have almost reached zero values, Sputnik reported. People buy mainly Belarusian Geely and Russian Lada.

The main reason for the decline in sales is that there are significantly fewer budget cars on the market.

In November, sales decreased by 40% compared to October. Belarusian Geely remained the leader in sales, which now occupies more than 80% of the entire Belarusian car market. Russian Lada is the leader in sales this year.

According to forecasts, Belarusian dealers will be able to sell 14 thousand new cars in 2022. Last year, more than 40 thousand new cars were sold.

Since 2020, the number of electric vehicles in Belarus has increased by 39 times.
