EDB forecasts Belarus' GDP growth in summer

According to the report of the Eurasian Development Bank for December 2022, Belarus' GDP fell by 4.9% compared to December 2021. In the coming months, the pace of GDP decline will remain at this level, Sputnik reported.

Investments in fixed assets and retail turnover decreased in December 2022, and economic recovery is expected only in a few months.

However, the decline in GDP will slow down in the spring, and by the summer, GDP may move to growth in the absence of new shocks.

At the same time, inflation in Belarus also continues to drop.
