Flu vaccination to begin in Belarus
On October 1, vaccination against influenza begins in Belarus. For vaccination, you can visit polyclinics at your place of residence, Minsk-News reported.
There are two drugs for vaccination. The Russian vaccine "Grippol Plus" can be vaccinated for free. Vaccination with the French drug "Vaxigrip Tetra" is carried out for a fee.
The Ministry of Health has published a list of high-risk groups of influenza:
- children aged 6 months to 3 years;
- children from 3 years old and adults with chronic diseases and immunodeficiency conditions;
- elderly people aged 65 and older;
- pregnant women;
- medical and pharmaceutical workers;
- children and adults in institutions with round-the-clock stay;
- employees of state agencies that ensure the security of the state and the vital activity of the population;
- employees of education, trade, catering, public utilities and others.
A WHO representative recently visited Belarus and said that the organization is pleased with the cooperation with Belarus.
