From August, retirement pensions will be increased by 10%

From August 1, retirement pensions in Belarus will be increased by 10%, BELTA writes. We recently wrote that Belarusian banks will share credit histories with banks of the EAEU countries.

In August, BYN 1.4 billion will be allocated for the payment of retirement pensions. Additional expenses in connection with the risw will amount to BYN 122 million. Currently, 2.3 million people receive retirement pensions in Belarus.

This is the second increase of pensions in 2022. For the first time, pensions rose by 7% in March.
