From May 31, the refinancing rate in Belarus to be reduced again

The National Bank of Belarus announced that from May 31, the refinancing rate is reduced from 10% to 9.75% per annum, BelTA reported. The last time the rate was reduced was in early May.

Together with the refinancing rate, other rates depending on it are reduced: rates on the loan and overnight deposit.

According to the representatives of the National Bank, the low monthly growth rates of consumer prices cause the continuation of the trend of slowing annual inflation. In the near future, it is expected that the low monthly growth rates of consumer prices will continue, and the annual inflation rate will be below 5%.

Let us remind you that Belarusbank has suspended opening and replenishment of foreign currency deposits.
