Government of Belarus approved agreement with Iran on cargo transportation

The government of Belarus has approved amendments to the agreement with Iran on international road cargo transportation, Sputnik reported. The agreement provides for the cancellation of permits for road cargo transportation between Belarus and Iran.

The agreement will enter into force after approval by the Government of Iran.

These changes to the agreement were proposed on March 13 in Tehran. Then the leaders of Belarus and Iran signed a comprehensive roadmap of cooperation for 2023-2026. In addition, the parties signed a number of documents on cooperation in many areas.
