Grain harvest in Vitebsk region is higher than last year

The yield of grain and leguminous crops in the Vitebsk region is 19% higher than the level of 2021, BelTA reported. The entire harvest in the southern and central regions of Belarus is planned to be get in by August 20.

In the Vitebsk region, cereals and legumes (excluding corn, buckwheat and millet) were harvested from an area of 170.4 thousand hectares. The yield averaged 32.1 c/ha. This is 19% higher than the level of the same period last year.

Also, twice as many grass feeds mowed down. In the Vitebsk region, mass harvesting of grain and legumes should be completed by the end of August.
