In 2022, industrial production in Belarus decreased by 5.4%
In 2022, the volume of industrial production in prices amounted to 94.6% compared to the level of 2021, Sputnik reported. At the same time, inflation in annual terms for 2022 increased by 12.8%.
The manufacturing industry reduced the output of goods by 6.2%. The energy supply sector decreased by 2.3%. The volume of retail trade decreased by 3.7%. At the same time, the mining industry managed to increase output by 2.5%.
The new forecasts for Belarus' GDP in 2023 vary and predict both growth and decline.
