In August, a new park will open in Minsk

The construction of Lakeside park continues on the northwest coast of the Cnianskaje reservoir in Minsk. It is planned to complete it by August 2023, Minsk-News reported.

The construction of the new park was announced in November 2022. Its concept provides for embankments equipped for recreation, an open-air art exhibition, sports and playgrounds, a pier for fishing, bike paths, an amphitheater, places for cafes, yoga spaces, barbecue areas, dog playgrounds.

Another feature of the park is a composition of 17 sculptures. In mid-April, an art council was held in the Committee of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Minsk City Executive Committee, at which the concepts proposed by Belarusian sculptors were agreed. At the end of April, the artists began working on their sculptures right on the site.

The customer assured that all work is being carried out according to plan, and the opening of Lakeside park is planned on time.
