The most popular district of Minsk to buy apartment

In the first quarter of 2023, 3,099 apartment transactions totaling 561.5 million Belarusian rubles were made in Minsk, Minsk-News reported.

Compared to sales for the fourth quarter of last year, the amount decreased by 21%. Nevertheless, experts emphasize that this is a seasonal situation that happens every year.

Most of the transactions for the sale of new apartments were made in the Kastryčnicki district. Frunzensky district became the leader in the number of purchase and sale of secondary housing.

A square meter in new studio apartments costs about 1.3 thousand US dollars.

The absolute record for the number of apartments sold in the entire history of maintaining the register of land prices was achieved in 2022. A little more than 15.3 thousand transactions with apartments were registered. In 2021, 14.7 thousand transactions were made.

It is planned to build five residential multi-storey buildings in the Stepyanka district, as well as reconstruct an inactive water tower to accommodate cafes and coworking there.
