In Belarus, car sales fell by 30%

In May, 629 cars were sold throughout Belarus. The market of new cars decreased by 30% compared to April and by 83% compared to the same period in 2021, Minsk-News writes. Recently we wrote that the number of private houses for sale is growing in Belarus.

From January to May 2022, a total of 10,606 new cars were sold. This result is associated with a significant change in the cost of most popular models, since after March prices for Belarusian dealers increased by 95%. The low demand was also affected by the deterioration of credit conditions.
