In January, the average salary decreased by almost $100

The average salary in Belarus fell by 230 Belarusian rubles or 91 US dollars in January. At the same time, salaries had increased by 100 dollars in December 2022, Sputnik reported.

Belstat has published monthly statistics on salaries in the country. The average salary in January was 1,684 Belarusian rubles (approximately 640 dollars). This is the amount before taxes, which is 14%.

Let us remind you, that the experts of the Eurasian Development Bank promise to reduce inflation in Belarus. According to forecasts, prices may rise by only 8% by the end of 2023.
