In June, inflation in Belarus was 1%

The consumer price index for goods and services in June 2022 amounted to 101.1% compared to May. Accordingly, inflation was 1.1%. Relative to December 2021, the price index rose by 13%, Minsk-News reports. Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves also increased in June.

The basic consumer price index in June compared to May was 101.6%. Compared to December 2021, prices increased by 14%.

Compared with May, food prices in June were 0.7% higher, compared with December — by 13.7%.

Non-food products rose by 1.5% compared to May. Compared to December — by 15.7%. Services have become more expensive by 1.3% and 8.7%.
