In new academic year, 115 thousand first-graders will enter schools

A new academic year begins in Belarus on September 1. There will be 1.85 million students in schools across the country, including 115 thousand first-graders, BELTA writes. At the end of July, we wrote that Belarusian school students won at the international Olympiads on Geography and Biology.

In total, in the 2022/2023 academic year, 2,866 kindergartens will operate in Belarus, where children receive preschool education. In addition, there will be 2,901 public schools for secondary education.
