In October, prices in stores decreased

The Deputy Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade said that prices fell in Belarus in October and deflation had taken place, Minsk-News reported.

A new price regulation system has been operating in Belarus since the beginning of October. According to the Deputy Minister, deflation is proof of the effectiveness of the measures taken. He also said that by the end of this year, inflation in the country "will slow down significantly."

Recently, Picodi analysts estimated that Belarusians spend $29.5 per month for online subscriptions.
