In the first half of 2022, Belarus' mineral reserves increased

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection informed BETA that oil and peat reserves increased in the first half of the year. Belarus is also planning to start developing new mineral resources.

In the first, the Ministry of Nature carried out the planned work on the development of minerals. Thanks to this, the volumes of oil and peat, sand, gravel, sapropel have increased. New sources of fresh and mineral groundwater have also been developed.
