It is advised not to visit forests before rains begin

Bans on visiting forests have been introduced in almost every district of Belarus this week. The reason was the abnormal heat, due to which the number of forest fires is growing. The First Deputy Minister of Forestry urged Belarusians not to visit forests before the rains, BelTA reported.

Currently, Belarus has very unfavorable weather conditions for fire safety in forests. The situation should change with the beginning of rains.

More than 11 fires have been eliminated in the last 24 hours. Nevertheless, residents continue to visit forests, which is also why fires occur.
