IT share in Belarus' GDP grown to 8.1%

The contribution of communications and informatization to the formation of Belarus' GDP for the 1st quarter of 2022 amounted to 8.1%, devby.io writes  with reference to BelTA. During this period, the Hi-Tech Park also paid a record amount of taxes.

In January–March 2022, the growth of the main financial indicators was ensured in the IT sector, the stable financial position of the industry organizations was maintained.

The share of the IT sector in the structure of Belarus' GDP in 2021 was 7.4%. The highest value was recorded in the 1st quarter of 2021 — 8%.
