Ministry of Economy named the main investors of Belarus

By the end of 2022, Russia, the Netherlands and the UAE were among the TOP 3 most active investors in Belarus. In the first quarter of 2023, Cyprus, Russia, and the Netherlands entered the TOP 3, Sputnik reported.

The countries of the Middle and Far East have grown by almost 70%. The share of reinvestment is also increasing, that is, the owners do not leave the Belarusian market, but continue to develop their business.

By the end of 2023, the Ministry of Economy expects to increase the volume of investments by more than 22%. Last year, foreign direct investment increased by more than 15%.

This year, 16% more funds will be allocated for pension payments.
