This year, 16% more funds will be allocated for pension payments

The Deputy Prime Minister said that in 2023 the pension budget will grow by 16%, Minsk-News reported. Recently we posted that meat and fish may rise in price in Belarus, because price regulation was canceled.

Now every fourth resident of Belarus receives pension payments. Last year, the payment budget amounted to 16.2 billion Belarusian rubles, or about 5.5 billion US dollars.

In 2023, the budget for pension payments will amount to 18.8 billion rubles or 6.4 billion dollars. In May, the average pension was 700 rubles or 240 dollars.
