Minsk received $2 billion of foreign investments

In January – March 2022, foreign investors plowed $2 billion in the real sector of the economy of Minsk (except banks), Minsk-News writes. At the same time, Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves decreased by 4.5% in May.

The main investors of Minsk organizations were companies from Russia (40.3%), Cyprus (26%) and Ukraine (10.5%).

At the same time, Minsk companies sent $1.2 billion worth of investments abroad in the first three months of the year. Russia received 83.2% of all directed investments, 7.5% to Ukraine and 2% to Cyprus.
