Minsk Tractor Plant increased exports by 10%

In January — May 2022, Minsk Tractor Plant increased exports of produced goods by 10% compared to the same period last year. Almost $300 million worth of products were exported in 2022, BELTA writes. We recently wrote that in January – March 2022, foreigners invested $2 billion in the real sector of the economy of Minsk.

In the first five months of this year, Minsk Tractor Plant manufactured 15,842 units of equipment. The production growth rate was 106.7% compared to 2021.

The main goal of the plant is to achieve exports of products worth $1 billion. Now the main sales markets of MTZ are Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. There are also plans to return to the Venezuelan market.
