More than 45% of the budget for nature protection was spent on wastewater treatment

In 2021, 45% of the total environmental protection costs were spent on wastewater collection and treatment in Minsk, Minsk-News reports.

In addition, 37% of the total budget was spent on waste management and prevention of their harmful effects on the environment. Other 13% were spent on the protection of atmospheric air, the preservation of the ozone layer and the climate.
