More than 48% of Minsk's budget will be allocated to social area
In 2023, more than 48% of Minsk's budget (4.4 billion Belarusian rubles) is planned to allocate to social projects, Minsk-News reported.
The finances will be used both to raise wages in state organizations and to improve social infrastructure.
The amount of funding for carrying out repairs and equipping social institutions with equipment will increase by more than 1.3 times compared to 2022.
It is also planned to increase spending on capital and current repairs of the road network and financing of public transport.
In 2023, the state is also increasing expenses on education.
