New BYN100 banknotes to appear in Belarus

From July 1, new BYN100 banknotes will appear, Minsk-News writes. They will continue the series of previously updated banknotes of BYN5, BYN10, BYN20 and BYN50, issued in 2019 and 2020. We remind you that in three months Minsk received $2 billion of foreign investments.

The design of the new banknote is similar to the design of the hundred-ruble banknotes that are currently in circulation. It also supports the same style of the updated banknotes. The image of the Nesvizh Castle has been updated on the banknote in accordance with its current appearance. In addition, the protective complex of the new banknote has been improved.

The BYN100 banknotes issued in 2009 remain legal tender in Belarus.
