New law on combining remote and office work in Belarus

On the pravo.by portal, a draft bill has appeared that amends laws on labor relations. Among other things, it allows temporary remote work or combined work (when work in the office is combined with remote work) in Belarus, devby.io writes.

An employee can be transferred to temporary remote work for up to 6 months. Remote work can also be performed permanently or be combined (performed permanently or temporarily with alternation during the working hours of remote work and in the office).

According to the proposed changes, the conditions of remote work can be established by agreement between the employer and the employee.

Belarus has also proposed a draft law banning some citizens from leaving the country.
