New minimum export prices set in Belarus

Since June 21, new minimum prices have been set for the export of dairy and meat products from Belarus, BELTA writes.

The cost of products is set depending on the export region.  For example, fresh and frozen meat cannot be sold to Russia, CIS countries and Georgia for less than $4.1 per kg (previously it was $4). To other countries, the cost of exports will not be lower than $4.35 per kg.

In addition, minimum prices are set for milk powder, cream, butter, cheeses. We recently wrote that Belarus accounts for almost half of the volume of mutual food trade in the Eurasian Economic Union.
