No new schools will be opened in Minsk this year

The academic year in Belarus begins on September 1. No new schools will be opened in Minsk by the new academic year, Sputnik reported.

The next opening of the new school is planned for 2024. This public school for 1024 places is currently being built in Minsk in the Lebyazhy district.

Currently, there are 241 public schools in Minsk, and there are only 504 schools in the Minsk region.

Let us remind you that the fees at state universities in Belarus has increased by 7%.
