Payments by Belarusbank Visa cards will be in euros

Payment by Visa cards from Belarusbank will be made not in dollars, but in euros, CityDog.io writes. We recently wrote that Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves increased in June.

The bank 's message reports: "Due to the change in the settlement currency by the Visa international payment system, we inform you that from 09.07.2022, instead of US dollars, the bank's settlement currency with the Visa international payment system will be euro."

The bank does not tell about the details of the operation process. You can find out how money transactions will be proceeded after you make a currency payment using a Visa card.
