Permission to take out foods to Lithuania and Latvia was extended

The authorities of the Vitebsk region allowed individuals traveling to Latvia and Lithuania to take out products without restrictions. The permit is valid until December 31, 2023, Sputnik reported.

Now it is possible to take out products in unlimited quantities to Lithuania and Latvia across the border in the Vitebsk region, as well as to Poland across the border in the Grodno region.

In the case of export of products through other regions to other countries, restrictions on certain food products continue to apply. Among them are flour, buckwheat, rice, oatmeal, semolina, barley, millet, pasta, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, canned meat, dairy and fish. These products can be taken out no more than 1 kilogram (or 2 kg for flour), one liter or 3 cans.

Let us remind you that from February 1, Belarusians and foreigners must pay a fee when leaving Belarus for Lithuania.
