Polotsk turns 1160 years old: what events will take place
Events dedicated to the 1160th anniversary of the city will be held in Polotsk on May 27-29 at open and closed venues, BELTA writes. This is a great reason to visit one of the oldest cities in Belarus. You can use our brief guide to Polotsk.
From May 27 to May 29, performances will be held in the city park, exhibitions of handicrafts will be operating. Also, children and adults will be able to participate in games and entertainment activities.
On the first day, May 27, an open air musical performance will take place at Liberty Square at 9PM. Also on May 29 the St. Sophia Cathedral will host a concert of organ music.
From May 28 to May 29, the literary forum "Center of Europe" will be held in Polotsk, its participants will receive master classes, open-air readings, book fairs.
