Preparatory work for the heating season is almost completed

About 70% of the preparatory work for the heating season in the field of housing and communal services has already been completed, BELTA writes. The full readiness of housing and communal services to work in the autumn-winter period will be completed as planned.

Organizations of housing and communal services prepare for the heating season not only the thermal economy, but also the water supply and sewerage, and renovate residential buildings.

On a weekly basis, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services monitors 13 indicators: replacement and overhaul of boilers, replacement of heating networks, creation of wood fuel reserves, preventive repair of heating systems of residential buildings, heating points, repair of joints, roofs and others. About 60 indicators are monitored monthly. This guarantees reliable and uninterrupted heat supply and water supply of the housing stock during the heating season.
